Recycle For Kids’ SakeDid you know: -over 350 Million cartridges are thrown into U.S. landfills every year? -each cartridge takes more than 450 years to decompose? -every recycled cartridge can save nearly 3 ½ lbs. of unnecessary waste dumped into our landfills? You can help support Big Brothers Big Sisters and protect the environment at no cost to your business! We have partnered with Cartridge World, a company that recycles inkjet and laser printer cartridges. We already have a collection bin at our office for cartridges, and we receive $3.00 or $5.00 for every cartridge we recycle depending on what type it is. Big Brothers Big Sisters would like to place a collection bin at your place of business, which we would come and pick up monthly (or as often as necessary). All we need from you in this fundraising effort is a small space in your office for the bin and your cooperation in recycling the cartridges. You can also drop off empty ink cartridges at Cartridge World and ask that they credit the Big Brothers Big Sisters account.
